Description
Originating from the tropical forests of Central and South America, the bromeliad, in its natural environment, lives as an epiphyte, similar to orchids. This means it doesn’t grow in the soil but develops on other plants, rocks, or tree trunks, absorbing water and nutrients from the atmosphere. Belonging to the Bromeliaceae family, which includes over 120 exotic species, bromeliads are exceptional indoor plants in our country, such as guzmanias, aechmeas, tillandsias, and more.
A distinctive characteristic is its vibrant flower colors and variations in its foliage. Its flowering period lasts from 3 to 6 months, and after the end of the initial flower’s bloom, the plant continues to produce offsets at its base for transplantation.
Note: Plants and flowers are living organisms, so the product may vary slightly compared to the photograph.
